Marsonist is a multi-talented sensational rapper/ singer, songwriter and producer, from Toronto, Canada.
He began his music career in the year 2000, and since then, has been recording/producing and performing his own original music as an independent artist, with a goal for his music to achieve the mainstream status and to become a international artist and performer.
Marsonist is a very committed, creative and innovative artist with a wide variety of musical influences; which is a major reason why he creates his music using a very fresh and unique style of Hip Hop sound, infused with a mix of R&B, Reggae, Pop, Rock, and Electronic influences. Within the content, he portrays many of his own real-life experiences, which are also inspired by the many trials and tribulations of todays highly diverse society of todays youth.
With his emotionally powerful engaging tone and his groundbreaking charged stage presence, Marsonist delivers his highly inspirational songs to a wide variety of listeners from many walks of life, which expands his target demographic and appeals to mainstream audiences without sounding too commercial. Marsonists music has a certain captivating worldly presence within his content, which can be enjoyed by most people; no matter the age, ethnicity, or culture of his listeners. His universal sound will be, without a question, a major part of the music industry within the near future.
In the summer of 2010, Marsonist will begin his newest debut, featuring his new single "Hell on Earth". This song portrays a very strong and universal message to the world about war, poverty, and social ills that affect those who face many obstacles in todays society.
Following the release of his single, he will also be showcasing some of his songs from his upcoming EP "Hell on Earth" on his official website (Marsonist.com) as well as on his MySpace fan page. He will be performing more of his new songs at live shows all across Canada, and will also be accepting bookings from the U.S. and overseas. Marsonist is also a proud supporter of non-profit organizations, where he continues to contribute his time and efforts, in order to assist the less fortunate in his community and around the world. He will be continuing to make appearances at charity functions, hospitals, and homeless shelters, and will also be involved in a series of free performances at a few upcoming functions in the near future.
Marsonists early interest in music started while attending Mayfield Secondary School of the Arts during his high school days. He began writing lyrics and performing at local shows in the Toronto area, and working with other local artists and producers during that time. After he graduated from high school, he began to create his own recording studio, where he started to produce and record his own music, as well as recording other artists that were in need of studio space and time in his humble basement studio built in his Brampton Ontario home.
In 2005, Marsonist began collaborating with DJ Vast, a DJ/Producer from Brampton, ON, who began to produce songs for Marsonist, and mentored him through his early musical production development stages. Almost immediately, they became a non-stoppable duo who has, over the years, collaborated on songs together, and performed at countless music events and shows in the Toronto Area, such as: Scrape by the Lake in Niagara Falls (2009), Tuners Against Street Racing in Mississauga (2008 and 2009), and many more.
In the summer of 2009, Marsonist and DJ Vast released a Mixtape titled At Large which featured some of the songs they both have created during their time in the studio.
Marsonist has endured many hardships and drama that plague young men today within his personal and social life, but he has always been able to bounce back and fight through these negative events, and express his positive emotions through his musical craft. Throughout his life, his motivation, dedication and love for his music, he has been proven to be truly undeniably an artist with growth that is committed to bringing and sharing knowledge and joy through his music.
